God is so faithful and worthy to be praised!!! One important factor to remember on the subject of “Prayer and Fasting” is the factor of Faith! What good is it pray and fast if you don’t even believe God will do it?

Faith is defined, according to Hebrews 11:1, as “...the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen.” Verse 6 of that same chapter says, “...without faith it is impossible to please [H]im for He that cometh to God must believe that [H]e is, and that [H]e is a rewarder of them that diligently seek [H]im.”

There are five things that we must keep in mind:

1. F-ocus on the right thing. Everything God says is right and true and He is more than able to do what He says.
2. A-ppreciation for what God has done, is doing, and will continue to do. Appreciation shows our gratitude and says we trust in our God.
3. I-mpossibilities made possible with God. We serve a God of possibilities. There is no situation to great for our God to handle.
4. T-rust the Lord. The Bible says that those that put their faith and trust in God will never be put to shame.
5. H-ope in Christ. Our hope lies with Christ and Him alone. Hope creates a light. Hope creates life and Hope creates and open door.

So the “Faith” factor is very important in our formula—Prayer + Fasting x Faith= T.R.A.F.G.T.M. (The Right Atmosphere For God To Move). When we multiply it by faith God is sure to move on our behalf!
